High-wasted Skirts. Cute or Not?

The new Alexander Mcqueen collection does little to excite us. Really, it is actually quite dissappointing. His dresses have never ceased to amaze us, but this time it has. This spring, he seems to have a thing for skulls, they can be seen on his accessories. They may be in this season, but they will always be tacky. His clothes aren't that bad, but they aren't great. You might find a peice or two that you like. Everything else will have you going, "eh". The shoes...not bad, pretty cute, but nothing we haven't seen at Aldo before. These two bags, however, really caught our eye. Can't explain why, but...what's not to love?

The cupcake necklace has a long chain that ends about right above the ribs. The top opens up to a small mouse inside it. How cute can it get? I also happen to know the B owns this very necklace.

Artist: Samuel Margolies (1897-1978), famous 20th century artist.
This piece was exibited in the Sprinfield Museum of Fine Arts back in 2006.
What a different view of N.Y.C. it almost looks peaceful...but we all know that it's one of the most hectic places in the world. Looks can be so decieving.
